Great views & location but some maintenance needed

Pros: the views are amazing!!!!! We loved the patio and the location of the building. It was close to a lot of activities (we did the Little Havana Food & Cultural Tour and the Wynwood Art Walls Tour) and also close to a lot of restaurants within walking distance. The amenities were also great (pool / spa / gym) and security was tight. Very easy to get an Uber anywhere we wanted to go. The unit was also very clean. Being near the top of the building meant we never had a hard time getting an elevator.

Cons: a few maintenance items kept this unit from being 5 stars. On our first night at 2am, the smoke detector started chirping every 30 seconds, keeping all of us awake for the rest of the night. It was concerning to us that the sticker on the smoke detector said the battery was last changed in 2019. Maintenance took care of it by the middle of the next day though, so we appreciated that but unfortunate that we had to live with the chirping for 8 hrs until they could get there. The guest bath sink was clogged and the master bedroom mattress seemed as though it could use replaced (it was uncomfortably soft and sagging). The sliding doors to the patio were very hard to open & close.

Note - with 4 of us being there, it was inconvenient to only have 2 door fobs between us. We had to do a lot of coordination with coming & going to accommodate that. 4 fobs would have been much appreciated!!

With a few changes, the unit would be perfect. But overall we were pretty happy and had a fun stay! We would come back. 4 stars!

We apologize for the inconvenience with the battery and are happy we were able to replace it for you the next day. Our maintenance team would've gladly assisted with the sink clogged and mattress had we known about it. We apologize for the inconvenience. Due to hurricane season, the balcony doors are extremely strong (and heavy) hence why it's a bit hard to open/close. Unfortunately, the building only allows 2 FOBs per 2-bedroom apartment, however, since you are registered downstairs with the front desk, they would have been able to open the elevator for you had you needed it. We hope next time you'll have the 5* experience! It was a pleasure hosting you!
