Dear Valería, thank you so much for your nice review, that we trully appreciate. The main pool on the 15th floor has been under renovations for some months. It is the largest pool in Florida and it has taken several months to complete the project. The Master association informed in written that pool would be reopening the first week of October, that´s why we counted on it for the dates of your reservation. On October 5th (almost 10 days prior to your arrival) as soon as we were notified of the delay, we sent a message to all our customers offering to cancel without penalties, or a 10% refund on the rental. Although the Vacation rental Agreement you accepted at the moment of booking specifies ".....the Landlord is not responsible if for any reason the Condominium is not able to provide you with a towel, or if the pool or any other amenities are closed for maintenance, renovation or other purposes", we understand that not having a pool is an issue, and for that reason we tried to go the extra-mile and offer our valued customers the cancellation with no penalties or the refund. We know other hosts in the same building, just mention that clause and don´t even offer any alternatives. We are well known in this complex because we are honest and always inform if something arise, like in this case. I have revised the communications and I saw that you preferred the 10% discount that we offered and to use instead the rooftop pool from W Hotel. Hope you enjoyed the amazing SPA, designed by Philippe Stark and an Icon in Miami! We hope to see you next time you come back to Miami and would love you enjoy our new pool. It was a pleasure to host you, Valeria.
