The luxurious Icon Brickell resort was designed by Philippe Starck, featuring a 28,000-square-foot spa, and fitness center, a 300-foot infinity pool (longest in Florida), overlooking the Bay, wet and dry saunas, poolside bar and fireplace. It is surrounded by the Miami Circle National Historic Landmark, a small park, and the Miami River.
Referred to as the 'Manhattan of the South', Brickell is home to the largest concentration of international banks in the United States, and home to many of Miami's top restaurants, shops and places of entertainment.
Almost across the street, you have the Brickell City Centre, with its department stores, shops, cinemas, restaurants, and constant events. Next to it, the Mary Brickell Village, also an ideal place to find the right restaurant, the Bayfront Park and Mall, the American Airlines Arena, the new PAMM and the Science Museums...which are all at walking distance. A short drive away you can find the Wynwood Art District, Miami Beach, -traditionally acclaimed for its Art Deco’s historic district, nightlife, shops, galleries, restaurants, and sidewalk cafes-, Key Biscayne, Coconut Grove, Seaquarium, the Zoo, Coral Castle, Jungle Island, and other museums. You can expect to be charged $250 for something that you did not do because these people are dishonest.

The room itself was very nice and clean. Check in was efficient. Very nice views. The building itself is plain and the hallways and elevator were very warm and virtually no a/c. The room was very nice though. Only slight drawback was the common areas.

The check in process was quick, simple and we had no wait. We are planning our next visit to this property already.

I booked this room the morning I needed it due to a last second business trip. I had no idea what I had booked other than it looked clean and have a view. I was BLOW AWAY with the view, incredible. The pace is SO clean, kitchen is perfect and location was excellent. Rode up on the elevator with a famous actor one night. It was an incredible experience overall.
