Dear Mary, thank you for taking the time to write this review. After your message reporting that the hot water was making noise, we contacted a plumbing company which informed that valves needed to be replaced and that in order to do that, they would need to turn off the water for one day or more because the valves are behind the a/c compresor and we needed to desassemble it. Is not that we didn´t answered, but that the work couldn´t be done during your stay. That work was completed after your departure and is now solved. The water was entering into the unit at a high presure and that caused the noise. About the detergent, we provide the following initial supplies: dishwasher tablets, dishwasher liquid, detergent for washer, shampoo, boyd wash, body lotion, conditioner, kitchen paper, toilette paper, coffe, cream, sugar, sweetener, facial tissues, soap, water and a bottle of wine.... but as mentioned, these are INITIAL supplies. Depending on the length of the stay, the guest will have to buy more if needed. This is a common practice for vacation rentals, where the idea is living like a local. About the pool, there are three pools and one of them was empty during some days while they were replacing the sealing, but still there are another two pools available: one on the 15th pool and the rooftop pool on the 50th floor which has amazing views of the city. Of course, the 28,000 sq ft SPA and the amazing fitness center are also open and available from 7 am to 10 pm. Is not common that we alter a reservation; we only do it in case some issue arise. The few times that this happened, we contacted the guests and informed if they agree with the new property which has the same equipment, size and lay out, or if they prefer to cancel at no cost, of course. In your case, we asked if you agreed, which you did. We would love to host you and your family again to make sure that this time you have an unforgettable stay with us.
